The Eastern Regional Chairman of the Ghana Journalist Association, Maxwell Kudekor has called on Journalists to make good use of the new media. He speaking at a graduation ceremony of 30 newly trained journalists from the Goodlife Innovative School in Nsawam in the Eastern region. Mr. Kudekor was speaking as a guest at the ceremony, the astute media personnel and the Eastern Regional Chairman of the GJA, explained that in spite of the many media outlets in the country graduates from media training institutions do not get jobs and the few who finds one are either under paid or not paid any remuneration at all, these he opined is a worrying situation. He charged the graduates to take advantage of the new media such TikTok, YouTube channel, Facebook, news portal to better their lifes. He also admonished media persons to limit the humour they attach to broadcasting news content. The administrator of the Goodlife innovative School, Coffie John on his part called on the graduands to let the profession be their outmost interest as they go out there to serve in the interest of the public.
