The Dagomba Chief of Kintampo of the Bono-East region has in the early hours of today Friday led a mammoth crowd for a health walk. Through the principal street of Kintampo, the respected chief, Naa Zakari Musah Baki who was clouded by the youth and the age shaked to the dancerble tunes of traditional drums and modern sound.
As part of the Dagomba Chief 8th Damba festival, the palace will this evening hold Naa Damba and later in the night have 'Simpa and Nabiehu' dance. The week long festival will end tomorrow Saturday with a grand durber at the Presby Park where several dignitaries including politicians and chiefs are expected to grace. So far, thousands of sons and daughters of Dagbon from all walks of life have arrived in Kintampo for this evening Naa Damba and the main durber.
