The Dagbamba Chief of Kintampo who doubles as the President of council of Dagbamba Chiefs in the Bono East Region, Naa Zakari Musah Baki V has paid royal visit to Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Together with his supportive elders, Naa Zakari visited the Dagomba chief of Kumasi to rebuild their cordial relationship as chiefs and grandchildren of late Naa Gbewaa. He used the opportunity to visit the officials of DirecAid, a none governmental organization, where they discussed several developmental issues that would benefit the people of Bono East. He appealed for relief items for communities in Kintampo and its environs such as water, educational materials, mosques among others.
Luckily on his part, items such as dresses for both men and women, about 2 thousand books, Qurans, Mathematical Sets, Pencils, Mattresses, Pillows were presented by management of DirecAid as part of their continues support to the chiefs and the people of Bono East. The palace of Naa Zakari have since identified some needy schools and communities and handed over the items to them. The palace is still appealing for more philanthropic assistance from groups and individuals.
