The Dagomba chief of Kintempo in the Bono East region, Naa Zakaria Musah Baaki and his elders have scheduled Monday 13th February 2023 to begin this year's Damba festival in a grand style. The 7th annual Bono-East Damba festival according to the palace will host eminent chiefs and politicians from the Dagbon traditional area including Yamo-Kari Naa, Yalzoli Gaa-Naa and several other chiefs in Tamale. It said, there would be variety of cultural display from 13th to the climax day which falls on Saturday 18th at the Kintempo presbyterian park. The palace of chief Musah is therefore calling on sons and daughters of Dagbon from far and near to help make the event a successful one. However, the Dagomba Chief of the Tamale Technical University Naa Nurudeen speaking to this portal commended the Kintempo chief and his elders for rightly representing Dagbon in the Bono-East region. According to him, chief Musah leadership style and his quest in improving the social economy of the people is refreshing.
