Tamale South NPP Parliamentary Aspirant rallies support for Bawumia at 'Tescon' handing-over ceremony

An Aspiring Parliamentary candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tamale South constituency, Alhaji Baba Alhassan has appealed to members of the party to rally behind the Vice President, Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia to led the party in the 2024 general elections.
According to him, Vice President Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia is the only candidate who stands tall and can easily break the eight years gist.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I am honored to be part of this wonderful occasion. I want to use this opportunity to tell you to keep pushing for the elephant family. Our topmost priority is to break the 8 and we can do it easily with DMB coz he is the only thong in their flesh. Let support the DMB agender”. He said.
Addressing invited guest and members of of the Tertiary Students' Conference (TESCON), branch of the Tamale Technical University handing-over ceremony yesterday Monday, Alhaji Baba urged members of the Association to continue propagating the policies and programmes of the Nana Addo-Bawumia government.
He said the outcome of the special delegates conference, did not just reflect Bawumia's resounding success but also signify a significant stride towards his aspiration of becoming the next president of the republic.
He enumerated that his resolute commitment to digital transformation has usehered in modernization across various sectors, propelling Ghana into a future driven by technology and innovation.
He further appealed to delegates of the governing party to vote massively for the Vice President in the November flagbearership elections.
Alhaji Baba Alhassan reiterated his pledge of defeating Lawyer Haruna Iddrisu in the 2024 general elections, when elected as the party's Parliamentary candidate for the Tamale South constituency.
He commended the immediate past Executives of the Association for their excellent leadership, but was quick to advise the new Executives to tolerate each other and win more support base for the party.
Speakers upon speakers also called for unity among the party stakeholders and the support base of the party.
