RTU make first public pronouncement on gate proceeds

The Management of Real Tamale United (RTU), made a public pronouncement for the first time on moneys realized as proceeds from it's home match.
RTU held Samatex FC to a goaless draw in the opener of the 2022/23 betpawa Ghana premier league at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium a fortnight ago.
According to club statement issued on Thursday September 22,2022,
“a gross amount of GH22,620.00 was realised from the E-Ticket platform and a club fund raising initiative on match day 1 of the betpawa premier league against samatex fc on September 11, 2022, at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
RTU received a net total of GH11,820.03.” the statement added.
Per the arrangements, the home team is entitled to seventy percent of the total amount realized as gate proceeds.
Ten percent to Ghana Football Association (GFA), ten percent to the National Sports Authority (NSA), five percent to the Ghana League clubs Association (GHALCA) and five percent to the Professional League Board (PLB).
Management of RTU further announced the club’s arrangement to assist supporters without E-tickets will get free bottle mineral water from club beverage partner U-Fresh Ghana limited for their next home match against Legon Cities Fc on Sunday.
“The club takes the opportunity to inform our cherished fans a club arrangement to assist fans without E-tickets to provide bottle mineral water from U-Fresh Ghana limited for the RTU/ Legon Cities match on Sunday September 25, 2022.”
Only this week, RTU announced a partnership deal with beverage sponsor U-fresh Ghana limited.
The beverage partner will gift free mineral water to all supporters who will pay and enter the stadium on match days.
This arrangement will apply in all home matches of the team and will last till the end of the 2022/23 Ghana premier league season beginning this Sunday.
